Veeam Certified Engineer Version 9
I work with Veeam a lot in my day job and in my “blog” job! So when the chance came up to take the VMCE v9 certification I thought I might better give it a go! Honestly, when I first thought about it I figured it’d be a walk in the park – but then after going through the Video On Demand course and looking through the course descriptions I changed my tune fast! There is a lot to know about Veeam!!! And to top that off I really only used a certain percentage of the technology that is covered on the certification – for instance, I have never used VBR to backup up Hyper-V, nor have I used tape, and for the most part, backup copy jobs are foriegn to me. Cloud Connect and Veeam ONE are another two products covered on the exam that I’ve never used. After I while I figured I’d be best to write a study guide for this one, ensuring I at least touch on every aspect in the course description – and thus, the VMCE v9 Study Guide was born…
The Layout!
Although there is no official blueprint for the VMCE there is a required course – so I thought I would use the course outline as the layout for the study guide – so with further ado, here’s the info!
